Features:
1. Raw materials and properties of offset paper. Offset paper is generally made of bleached cork chemical pulp and an appropriate amount of bamboo pulp. When processing offset paper, the amount of filling and sizing is large, and some high-quality offset paper needs surface sizing and calendering. Because offset paper adopts the principle of ink balance in printing, it needs good water resistance, dimensional stability and strength. Offset paper is mainly used for color prints. In order to restore the original tone of the ink, a certain degree of whiteness and smoothness are required.
2. Offset paper specifications. The specifications of offset paper are the same as the first two kinds of paper. For other specifications, please refer to GB147 "Size of base paper for printing, writing and drawing". Dimensional error and deflection shall not exceed 3 mm. There are many kinds of offset paper. Typically, base weights are 60, 70, 80, 90, 120, 150, 180, 200, and 250g/m2. The offset paper of printed books and periodicals is below 90g/m2, and the cover is about 70-200g/m2.
