Advanced printing paper
Copperplate paper is a type of advanced printing paper, also known as printing coated paper. It is coated with a layer of white paint on the surface of the base paper and processed by super calendering. It is divided into single-sided and double-sided types, with smooth and textured paper surfaces. Copperplate paper has a smooth surface, high whiteness, and good ink absorption performance. It is mainly used for offset printing and gravure printing of fine wire printed products, such as high-end picture books, calendars, books and magazines. However, copperplate paper is prone to sticking and peeling off when exposed to moisture, and cannot be stored for a long time.
Classification
Double copper paper: Double sided copperplate paper with good smoothness on both sides.
Single copper paper: Copper coated paper with single-sided coating.
Copperplate paper: Copperplate paper coated on one or both sides but with low smoothness.
High gloss copperplate paper: a copperplate paper with a smooth surface and high glossiness.
Art Copperplate: Copperplate paper used for special artistic effects.
